Mr. Francis Rogers is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Consulting, a company highly skilled and dedicated to providing corporate solutions to public and private businesses in Africa and globally. Mr. Rogers is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in international corporate development, managing large partnerships and grants for several donors and governments. Mr. Rogers holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology (BA) from the University of Liberia, a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision with distinction from the University of Liberia, and a master’s degree in Applied Leadership and Management from Arizona State University, Arizona State, U.S.A.
Mr. Rogers has also earned several international professional academic credentials to wit: Executive Leadership Certificate, Cornell University, New York, USA; Change Leadership Certificate, Cornell University, New York, USA; Advanced Strategic Human Resource Certificate, Cornell University, New York, USA; Master Certificate in Human Resources, Cornell University, New York, USA; Project Leadership Certificate, Cornell University, New York, USA and International Organizations Management, University of Geneva, Switzerland; among others. Currently, Mr. Rogers is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the
University of London, UK.
Professionally, Mr. Rogers has served in many top executive roles with several international organizations. He is currently serving as the Uganda Country Director for the International Republican Institute, a Washington DC based organization implementing the U.S. Federal Government’s democracy and governance programs in over 100 countries around the world. Prior to that, he served as Country Director for the Center for Victims of Torture in
Uganda, a Minneapolis based organization advocating for the abolition of the practice of torture, and a leader in providing mental health and trauma counselling services to refugees and other victims of torture around the world. Mr. Rogers also served as Country Director in South Sudan for World Concern International, with Headquarters in Seattle, Washington State, U.S.A; With ACDI/VOCA, a Washington DC based organization with presence in over
140 countries worldwide, he served as Director of Programs Development and Knowledge Management in Liberia, providing economic solutions through entrepreneurship; among others.
Mr. Rogers is a motivational speaker and leadership expert. He serves as keynote speaker for several international conferences, and he was the organizer of the Liberian Environmental Management Conference in 2017, in the city of Monrovia, a meeting that brought together the Liberian Government, the United Nations, and many diplomatic missions in Liberian to discuss climate change.
